A Senior Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton’s Herndon, Virginia office, Chris Kelly is a member of the firm’s U.S. Security Market effort, leading teams of professionals who deliver services to law enforcement clients that include the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Department of Homeland Security, financial institutions, and international governments.

Mr. Kelly remains on the forefront of innovative market ideas, working with his colleagues at the firm to create new lines of business in:

Key client assignments include:

Working with law enforcement agencies and private sector companies to help define and implement legislative and policy options that address fast-moving technologies and their impact on counter-terrorism and criminal enforcement operations
Developing strategies for clients that integrate their cyber defenses with their physical security and critical infrastructure and business continuity practices to take a mission assurance approach to embedding resilience into their operations
Working with a special studies team at the Council of Foreign Relations to examine the implications of major events (cyber attacks and physical attacks) on U.S. critical infrastructures and assess how to gain public sector investment to build resilience into these systems

Since joining Booz Allen in 1986, Mr. Kelly has also led the Mission Assurance and Enterprise Resilience business as part of the firm’s Global Resilience effort, advising commercial and government clients on strategic risk issues associated with physical and cyber threats.

A former member of the firm’s Board of Directors, Mr. Kelly was twice awarded the Professional Excellence Award (PEA)—Booz Allen’s highest honor for outstanding customer service—for his work on national security telecommunications issues and on HIV/AIDS awareness projects in India.

Mr. Kelly holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in computer science from Pennsylvania State University, where he serves on the Penn State College of Engineering Industrial and Professional Advisory Committee.
