A Senior Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton’s Herndon, Virginia office, Chris Kelly is a member of the firm’s Civil Market efforts, leading teams of professionals who deliver services to law enforcement clients that include the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Department of Homeland Security, financial organizations, and other US government agencies with enforcement responsibilities. 

Mr. Kelly supports his clients in a variety of mission areas, including:

  • Fraud detection
  • Financial intelligence
  • Counter-narcotics
  • Counter-narco terrorism
  • Domestic counter-terrorism

Mr. Kelly has done work in effective partnerships and organizational effectiveness.  As part of this body of work, he co-authored and published, Megacommunities, How Leaders of Government, Business, and Non-Profits Can Tackle Today’s Global Challenges Together with Mark Gerencser, Reggie Van Lee, and Fernando Napolitano in 2008.  Mr. Kelly's work focuses on how to develop these partnerships and bring different and needed resources to problems from diverse groups who are at times opposed to one another.  He has also published other work including a study on values-based leadership with the Aspen Institute.

Mr. Kelly has also led the firm’s Mission Assurance and Enterprise Resilience business as part of the firm’s Global Resilience effort, advising commercial and government clients on strategic risk issues associated with physical and cyber threats.  His portfolio also included a leadership role in the firm’s global business footprint focused on serving international governments.

A former member of the firm’s Board of Directors, Mr. Kelly was twice awarded the Professional Excellence Award (PEA)—Booz Allen’s highest honor for outstanding customer service—for his work on national security telecommunications issues and on HIV/AIDS awareness projects in India.

Mr. Kelly holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in computer science from Pennsylvania State University, where he serves on the Penn State College of Engineering Industrial and Professional Advisory Committee.
