Natalie M. Givans Based in Herndon, Virginia, Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President Natalie Givans has 25 years of experience in system security engineering, information and mission assurance, and communications, information, and transmission security. She leads the firm's Assurance & Resilience (A&R) team, which delivers Information Assurance (IA) and IT Security capabilities and service offerings into the firm's U.S. government and commercial Cyber markets. The major components of the A&R service offering are Security Policy, Compliance and Management, Security Architecture, Engineering, and Design, Cyber Security Operations, and Mission Assurance/Enterprise Resilience. These services are further defined to include include system security engineering; security requirements analysis; security concepts of operation; security program planning; strategy and policy; security architecture development; security risk management; and security design, test, integration and implementation services that span a wide range of security technologies such as firewalls, cross domain security, multi-level security, public key cryptography (PKI), identity and access management (IDaM), cryptography, network security, software assurance, wireless and mobile security, secure voice, secure service oriented architecture (SOA), web-based security, and system security certification and accreditation. Ms. Givans is an active member of the firm's Cyber campaign, focusing on the business development and market collaboration segment as well as leading the collaboration with firm's defense Cyber business. In addition, she is a member of the firm's Defense Market Leadership Team, the Defense Thought Leadership Steering Group, the Booz Allen Excellence Awards Committee, and the Board Diversity Initiative, including the Women's Leadership Initiative. Ms. Givans is the Vice Chair of AFCEA International. She has been a member of AFCEA since 1986, serving in a variety of roles including member of the Board of the Educational Foundation, member of the Board of the Building Services Corporation, and director of the Board of Directors. She is a member of the MIT Alumni Association Board of Directors, serving on the Finance Committee. In addition, she is Booz Allen's sponsor for the MIT Industrial Liaison Program; the Society of Women Engineers and its Corporate Partnership Council; and the Girl Scouts of America, including the Making the Connection program.
