Cindy Broyles

Based in Lexington Park, Maryland, Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President Cindy Broyles is a leader in the firm’s Navy/Marine Corps market and leads its NAVAIR business and the Lexington Park office.

Since joining the firm in 1986, Ms. Broyles has leveraged her expertise and critical insights in program and acquisition management to support the U.S. Navy and Department of Defense Communication-Electronic, Ships, and Aviation programs. She directs a multidisciplinary team of more than 400 program management, acquisition, engineering, and IT professionals who support defense programs at Patuxent River, Maryland and Dahlgren, Virginia.

An active member of her community and of professional organizations, Ms. Broyles was named Distinguished Alumni by St. Mary’s College of Maryland; Woman of the Year by her local chapter of Business and Professional Women; and Distinguished Member of the Year by Women in Defense. She currently serves on the executive board of the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Maryland and is a trustee for St. Mary’s College. She is also a member of the Navy Alliance, Patuxent Partnership, Armed Forces Communication Electronic Association (AFCEA), Navy League, and National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), and served as past president of the Chesapeake Bay chapter of Women in Defense.

Within the firm, Ms. Broyles led the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI), which provides leadership and innovation to develop and advance women at Booz Allen. During her tenure, WLI has successfully partnered with Booz Allen’s Senior African American Women (SAAW) network to establish a formal mentoring program that offers senior coaching, mentoring, and insight from the women partners.

Ms. Broyles earned an M.S. degree in Systems Management and a Certificate in Management Information Systems from the University of Southern California, and holds a B.A. in Social Science from St. Mary’s College. In addition, she completed a Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government Senior Executive Program in National and International Security.
