Dale L. Watson

Dale Watson serves as a Senior Executive Advisor to Booz Allen Hamilton, sharing his insights and expertise in areas related to law enforcement, counterterrorism (CT), and counterintelligence (CI).

Mr. Watson acts as a liaison between federal agency leaders at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and Department of Defense (DoD) and Booz Allen’s top-level management.

Before joining Booz Allen, Mr. Watson dedicated 25 years of service to the FBI as its executive assistant director for CT and CI. In this position, he was involved in every major terrorist investigation during the 1990s until his retirement in 2002, including the first World Trade Center attack, the Oklahoma City bombing, the East Africa Embassy bombing, the Khobar Towers Air Force barracks bombing, the USS Cole bombing, 9/11, and the anthrax attacks.

Mr. Watson has extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of CI, and has been involved in a number of espionage investigations and sensitive intelligence work. He has testified before Congress on CI and CT issues. He was also a regular participant in National Security Council meetings and regularly briefed all senior members of the William Clinton and George H.W. Bush administrations.

In addition, Mr. Watson has extensive contacts throughout the world and is universally recognized as a CT/CI expert.

Mr. Watson has been recognized with numerous awards, most notably the FBI’s Meritorious Achievement Award, the sole recipient of the FBI’s Presidential Rank Award, and the CIA’s prestigious Donovan Award for Senior Executives.

With a B.S. degree from Florida State in history and government, Mr. Watson is also a graduate of the National Executive Institute.
