Kurt B. Stevens Dr. Kurt Stevens, a Senior Vice President based in Colorado Springs, leads Booz Allen Hamilton’s work for aerospace and homeland defense clients. He manages the firm’s Air Force Space efforts and directs its U.S. intermountain region, with staff in eight locations. With a focus on the DoD space market sector, Dr. Stevens’ work ranges from technology investment strategy development to operations analysis. He coordinates space marketing and selling activities across the Air Force business sector. He has also supported commercial clients in the IT market with three primary product offerings: Strategic planning, systems engineering and integrations, and operations analysis. He and his team have developed programs from technology concept, through user/customer validation, to major development and operations. Dr. Stevens joined Booz Allen in 1995 after retiring from the Air Force, where he held positions in development and operations and led numerous multi-agency teams investigating the phenomenology and collection of radio frequency and optical signals. He and his teams developed state-of-the-art sensors and data processing systems for ground, airborne, and space-borne applications. He also participated in national panels and drafted policy for Cabinet-level direction. A member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Dr. Stevens is also active in the Colorado Springs Diversity Forum. The Booz Allen Colorado Springs offices were honored with the Coalition Chamber of Commerce Diversity Award in 2006.
