A Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton’s Herndon, Virginia office, Bob Sogegian has more than 20 years of experience leading major technology modernization programs in both the public and private sector. He has extensive experience in program planning, systems engineering, communications, and technology development.

Mr. Sogegian’s business focus is providing technology and management consulting services in the U.S. security business sector. He assists clients in understanding the impact of emerging market trends and guides these organizations as they transform to meet today’s global challenges. He directly leads a portfolio of science and technology-related engagements focused on assisting clients across the law enforcement community in applying technology to the business of law enforcement.

He is a recognized thought leader in areas associated with:

  • Lawful interception of communications
  • Cyber forensics
  • Exploitation of digital evidence and intelligence
  • Biometrics

Mr. Sogegian leads a multidisciplinary team of over 300 technology and management consultants conducting market studies, technology assessments, program planning, specialized technology development, and operational support to clients within the federal security sector. He has consulted extensively with federal law enforcement clients in planning, developing, and deploying advanced technical investigative capabilities used in the collection and analysis of digital evidence and intelligence.

He has also led a broad range of technical and management consulting engagements, including conducting detailed studies and analyses of emerging telecom trends, technologies, and standards to assess and project the impact on law enforcement’s technical investigative capabilities and plan for future needs.

Prior to joining Booz Allen in 1988, Mr. Sogegian held various engineering positions in the telecommunications industry. He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Association for Computing Machinery, and American Society for Industrial Security.

He holds a master’s degree in engineering management from the George Washington University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.
