As Senior Vice President and Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) at Booz Allen Hamilton, Horacio Rozanski is responsible for the programs and strategies that allow the firm to attract, develop, and retain the best people in the world.

Mr. Rozanski leads the firm’s recruiting, human resources, learning and development, diversity, strategic people initiatives, total rewards, and executive service functions.

Mr. Rozanski joined the firm in 1992 to focus on marketing and channel strategy across a range of industries. He was elected vice president in 1999, and appointed CPO by the Board of Directors in 2002.

During Mr. Rozanski’s tenure, Booz Allen has grown its staff at unprecedented rates, garnered significant awards and recognition for its people programs, and launched several transformational initiatives, such as the Board Diversity Initiative (BDI).

He co-authored several articles which appeared in strategy+business, including “Brand Zealots: Realizing the Full Value of Emotional Brand Loyalty,” “Seize the Occasion! The Seven-Segment System for Online Marketing,” and “The Great Portal Payoff.”

Mr. Rozanski holds an MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago and a BBA (summa cum laude) from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. He sits on the boards of advisors for Catalyst and for the Hidden Brain Drain task force.
