Sharon L. Muzik A Senior Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton, Sharon Muzik is part of the firm's aerospace management group. She leads the U.S. Air Force Materiel Command line of business and provides leadership for 250 staff in the Dayton, Ohio office. Ms. Muzik has developed major programs and contracts with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the U.S. Army, Air Force, and Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Key expertise areas are concentrated in:
Throughout three decades of progressive professional experience in public and private industry, Ms. Muzik has consistently demonstrated her ability to lead government and contractor teams in developing and implementing innovative and operationally effective applications of automated information system (AIS) technologies. Knowledgeable in all phases of information systems design and development, Ms Muzik’s experience spans the full spectrum of program management responsibilities, including planning, budgeting, staffing, facilities, logistics, testing, process improvement, quality control, and financial management. Ms. Muzik led the Booz Allen team that earned USSOCOM’s David Packard Excellence in Acquisition Award. She also received the Meritorious Service Award from the U.S. Navy. She is a life member of the NDIA Dayton Wright Brothers Chapter and Executive Committee, Women in Defense (WID) Washington, D.C. chapter, Association of the U.S. Army, and other organizations. She is an industry advisory committee member for the Minority in Engineering Program at the University of South Florida, and a former vice president of AFCEA’s Tampa-St. Petersburg chapter. Ms. Muzik graduated with an M.S. degree in management information systems from the George Washington University, and a B.S.
