Patricia Goforth
Based at Booz Allen Hamilton’s Herndon, Virginia, office, Patricia Goforth is a Senior Vice President with two dozen years of experience in systems engineering for information technology (IT) and telecommunications systems projects.
Ms. Goforth leads a team of experts that develops and delivers IT infrastructure capabilities that include satellite and network engineering and identity and information management.
She shares senior leadership responsibilities for major defense IT client accounts and leads IT infrastructure projects that leverage her broad expertise in:
- Communications engineering, including integration of satellite, wireless, and terrestrial systems
- Information management and identity solutions
- Network and IT service management
- Systems engineering and integration (SE&I)
Responsible for the application of IT infrastructure capabilities to defense market client projects, she also assists in the development and delivery of functional capabilities in network engineering, information sharing solutions, and next-generation capabilities.
Ms. Goforth primarily supports federal defense agencies and the U.S. military with engagements that include:
- Systems engineering and technical support to provide broadband broadcast capabilities to tactical users worldwide
- Development of information-sharing solutions for counter-narcotic tracking and situational awareness
- Development of enterprise collaboration, identity management, enterprise e-mail and directory solutions
Ms. Goforth and her team earned Booz Allen’s highest honor for outstanding customer service—the Professional Excellence Award (PEA)—for their contributions to transforming the Commercial SATCOM business processes of one of the firm’s defense clients. She also instituted quality control processes, including ITIL, ISO 9001 and CMMi, significantly raising the quality of Booz Allen’s delivered infrastructure solutions.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Goforth served as a systems engineer at CONTEL. She received a masters and a B.S. degree in systems engineering from the University of Virginia.
